Grundfos Magna Circulators
May 2021 Product of the Month
Grundfos has evolved and continued to develop its range of pumping solutions throughout the years, giving them the market edge in terms of design, product efficiency, and technical backup.
The Magna range was delivered to offer a simple user interface, the pumps can be monitored via a fault relay. The Magnas offer a digital start/stop input that will allow the pump to be monitored remotely, in addition to a wireless functionality that means that the popular twin-pump models will secure continuous operation.
“This range of circulators was developed by Grundfos in 2001 and has been a top choice for customers since they were launched The MAGNA3 is a highly-efficient circulator pump intended for large commercial buildings such as hospitals and schools.”
PRESFIX Packaged Pressurisation Sets
April 2021 Product of the Month
The main benefits include: large volumes of water are no longer required to be stored at the top of the building. Expansion vessels can now be used in place of the storage tanks and these can be placed anywhere in the building, usually in the basement where the weight is not a problem.
Sealed systems reduce corrosion to an absolute minimum by sealing the system content from atmosphere, and only adding fresh water to replace loses through leakage. Sealed systems also offer the possibility of operating at higher temperatures if required (Max 120°C) which permits lower circulation rates, smaller pumps and reduced pipe work dimension with obvious cost savings.
“In today’s demanding environment nearly all heating and chilled water circulating systems are designed to operate in sealed networks.”
Variable Speed Booster Pump
March 2021 Product of the Month
The multi-inverter system ensures instant control. With e-SM individual/dedicated controls and pressure transducers to eliminate any single point of failure. Multi e-SM communication ensures that if any pump inverter control or pressure transducer were to fail then the remaining pumps would continue to operate in normal sequence.
Pumps fitted on a common base with all components:
- Control Panel
- Pipes and fittings
- Pressure Gauge,
- Anti-Vibration mounts
- Pressure transducer
- 24 litre diaphragm tanks for each pump are connected on delivery side of the set
- Suction & Discharge manifolds AISI 304 stainless steel
- On-off valves fitted to each pump suction and discharge port
- Non-return valves fitted to each pump discharge port
Control Panel – IP55 protection class, equipped with: Door interlocked isolator, Thermal magnetic protectors for each inverter. Low water protection, ready to connect to external low water device. Fault Free contact.
Elvaro T Range
February 2021 Product of the Month
The Elvaro T is a combined tank and variable speed pump set solution designed to maximise the water storage available within a minimum available space. Variable speed operation of the pumps means system pipework lasts longer due to the removal of the water hammer common on fixed speed operated pumps. This also provides a reduction in energy consumption and is much quieter when in operation.
